Going Green

A major Construction Management company asked BPE Wimbledon Ltd. to research the market and put forward a proposals to change the lighting in their site cabins from fluorescent to LED.

Following a successful trial, which received very positive feedback from users, the scheme has been "rolled out" resulting in a saving of a massive 70% in their lighting load.

Elsewhere we have utilised LED lamps to replace low voltage dichroic lamps and GU10 reflector lamps leading to energy savings of 80-85%. and "Eco" fluorescent tubes which replaced existing, without mofification to luminaires, achieving 10% energy savings.

Twenty 20 Cricket

Working with the Marylebone Cricket Club, BPE designed and installed a comprehensive general and emergency lighting system serving the stands, vomitories and walkways around Lord's Ground in St. Johns Wood, London.

The system was sympathetically designed using a range of light fittings and met with the approval of both the client and Westminster City Council

North Chelmsford Healthcare Centre

BPE Wimbledon recently completed the design and installation of Mechanical and Electrical services for a healthcare centre created within an existing Sainsbury Store in Chelmsford. The very exacting requirements were completed with the minimum of disruption to the supermarket.

"There are a lot of people ....... who already recognise how well this programme has been delivered and all the credit goes to yourselves. I remember the PCT asking very early on whether the project would be handed over on time and to specification, and then commenting last week that this has been the best programme of work undertaken for the PCT - I think this says a lot."

Events

BPE Wimbledon carry out temporary installation works for major outdoor events such as the Wimbledon Championships, where we have an association going back over fifty years.

In conjunction with the major British tentage company BPE provide the electrical services installation for State Visits at Windsor or Horseguards Parade in London and a major outdoor Festival of Music and the Arts.

BPE Wimbledon Ltd provide temporary installations for any event large or small- product launches, opening ceremonies, fashion shows, private parties, exhibitions or corporate hospitality.
